The summer celebration of Family Day has become a great tradition at Coventry Russian school RUBRIC.

Due to the nice weather, the best place for sports competitions and fun games was obviously outdoor. Russian school pupils with their parents, teachers and volunteers gathered together in one of the parks near the University campus.

Two teams with the names chosen by children - "Victory" and "Lightning" - held numerous sports contests. They created great atmosphere and taught the children how to work in teams and how to cope with a defeat if it happens.

Everyone has received a well deserved award. Traditionally, after the sports competition there was a picnic with a lot of Russian food.  

Looking at the photos taken at Family Day, you can see that all participants look very happy and smiley.
